O-ring cords
The O-ring cords are extruded round cords and are used for sealing or as blanks for the production of rings. Rings from round cords are made by gluing or vulcanizing the ends.
They should only be used for large diameters and static sealing, as the joint cannot withstand high loads.
They are made of acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), have good resistance in a wide temperature range from -20 °C to +120 °C, as well as good oil resistance to mineral and hydraulic oils and have a shore hardness of 70±5.
